George H. Etz, Jr. met Lt. Col. Thieme, Jr. in 1964. Later, while on a dove hunt with Col. Thieme in South Texas, Dad accepted Christ as his Savior. I like to think Dad’s eternal life began with a shotgun in his hand, and two bird dogs at his side. From then on, Dad began attending Bible classes taught by Pastor Thieme. These are his notes from those classes, passed down to me, his younger son, and presented in this book so that others may use them to find spiritual inspiration, and form a deeper connection with the Lord our God.
